Job Description:

Auto Pet Treat, Inc is the first vending machine company in the world to provide self-serving machines for dogs! We are a family-owned business selling vending machines for dogs to get treats by themselves using high-end chip technology placed in the dog’s collar.

We are seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineering Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate is a current student pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and has a strong interest in embedded systems, IoT, and coding. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to real-world projects and gain hands-on experience while making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Debug and optimize existing code for our treat dispensing machines.

  • Write and test new software features to enhance machine performance and user experience.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.

  • Conduct code reviews and implement best coding practices.

  • Participate in testing and troubleshooting sessions to identify and resolve technical issues.

  • Document code, processes, and system functionality for future reference.
