Position Overview:

Bloc Digital is seeking a motivated and creative Software Development Intern with a passion for immersive technologies and interactive design. The intern will work with Bloc’s development team to assist in the creation of cutting-edge digital experiences using Unity, including virtual and augmented reality applications, as well as interactive content for touch tables and tablets.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for students interested in game development, XR (extended reality), and software engineering to gain hands-on experience in a professional studio environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development team to design, prototype, and implement VR/AR applications using Unity.

  • Assist in the development of interactive applications for touch tables and tablets.

  • Participate in team meetings, sprint planning, and design discussions.

  • Debug and optimize code for performance across multiple platforms.

  • Conduct testing and gather user feedback to refine experiences.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Unity and C# programming.

  • Interest or coursework in computer science, software engineering, or game development.

  • Understanding of AR/VR platforms (e.g., Meta Quest, HoloLens, iOS/Android ARKit/ARCore).

  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and interaction design.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
